World Malaria Day

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by parasites transmitted by the bites of infected mosquitoes. For centuries, malaria has been one of the leading causes of death in the world, especially in tropical regions. World Malaria Day was established to support the global fight against this disease.
Events
Awareness and campaigns. Campaigns are carried out in different countries to raise awareness about the dangers of malaria, its symptoms and prevention measures.
Education and research. Scientific conferences, medical seminars, and educational programs for the population are held.
Symbolic events. The use of symbols, such as green ribbons or flags, that symbolize the fight against malaria.
